A mere 3-minute stroll from the Kumanoyu Ski Area, Hotel Ichibokaku not only features a ski school, but it also houses a soothing hot spring bath and karaoke facilities. The hotel offers Japanese-style rooms, and free Wi-Fi is available in public areas.
Rooms are heated and they feature a seating area, sliding paper screens and a low table with seating cushions. Guests sleep on Japanese futon beds, on the tatami (woven-mat) floor. All rooms have an private bathroom, and yukata robes can be requested at the reception.

Located at 1,680m, the hotel overlooks Mt. Kasadake, the symbol of Shiga Kogen.
After enjoying activities such as walking, you can relax and enjoy the 100% free-flowing hot spring water, which is rare in Shiga Kogen and has a milky green color.

The area around the hotel is famous as a spot for viewing genji fireflies.
You can enjoy watching fireflies as well as the magnificent starry sky.

The meals are prepared using locally grown ingredients and low-pesticide vegetables sent directly from the farmers contracted by the hotel.

Milky Green Onsen
Our hot spring is a milky green sulfur spring that is rare even in Shiga Kogen.
The temperature is adjusted with pure natural spring water from Mt. Kasadake!
The hot spring water is 100% natural and is free-flowing, with sprays of hot water dancing in the air.

(except for cleaning time from 9:30 to 12:30)
■About the open-air baths
Open-air baths are not open from mid-November to mid-April.
The number of people using the baths is limited depending on the time of day in order.
