Our family run hotel is located in Ichinose which is the geographic center of the Shiga Kogen ski area.
Our hotel is almost ski IN/OUT and with many chair lifts located next to our hotel, skiers and snowboarders have an easy access to all ski areas of Shiga Kogen.
Our hotel has been designed like a European style of mountain Chalet, with western/Japanese rooms which makes it very comfortable for foreigners.
On the ground floor, is located a “Japanese/Western Pub” (Teppa Room), creating a very relaxing après ski atmosphere where you will be served Japanese/Western dishes.
We may not be “fluent English speaking”, but we will always do our best to make your stay most enjoyable so you feel the real Japanese hospitability.
With many years welcoming foreigners, Australians, Europeans, etc...Everyone will feel at home.
Ski, snowboard and boots rental is available from a shop opposite to our hotel. That makes it very easy!
Ichinose may not be a very old typical Japanese village, it is rather a modern resort designed for an enjoyable ski and snowboarding holiday in a beautiful environment.
Night life in Ichinose is quiet and not as exciting as foreigners could expect, but there are a few places around where you can enjoy a drink or dinner!
